Know What You've Actually Built

Most VoIP and real-time communications infrastructure grows organically. A system that started as a sensible solution for fifty users becomes something much harder to reason with at five hundred, or five thousand. New integrations get added. Vendors change. The original architects move on. What you're left with often works - until it doesn't, and nobody is quite sure why.

We provide architectural design and audit services for organisations who need an honest assessment of where they are. Because we work across the breadth of the open source real-time media ecosystem - SIP proxies, media servers, WebRTC gateways, RTP engines - we can read an infrastructure diagram or a config file and know quickly what's load-bearing, what's held together with string, and what will fail at the next order of magnitude. We document what we find clearly, without trying to create work for ourselves.

We also design from scratch when you're building something new and want to avoid the mistakes that come with learning this space the hard way.

  • Infrastructure assessment and documentation
  • Scalability and redundancy review
  • Security posture evaluation (SIP security, SRTP, TLS)
  • Codec and media path optimisation
  • Future-proofing against known industry direction
